Tapestry
A tapestry is a form of textile art traditionally used as a wall display. It is created by weaving coloured weft threads through plain warp threads. These warp threads stretched on a loom provide a grid for weavers to create a pattern with the coloured weft thread. Wool and silk have been the most common materials used for tapestry weaving. Tapestries often depict scenes from history, mythology, nature or daily life.
