Chalcolithic Age

Chalcolithic Age/Copper Age

The Chalcolithic Age, also known as the Copper Age, refers to a transitional period between the Neolithic Age and the Bronze Age. As in the Neolithic, humans continued to use stone for making tools and weapons, but they also started mining copper and fashioning it into objects. The dates of the Chalcolithic Age vary depending on geographical location; some regions did not experience this phase.
